Corona hat in diesem Jahr auch das Leben innerhalb der CDU Senioren Union geprägt. So konnten insgesamt nur 4 Veranstaltungen durchgeführt werden. Wie gerne wäre man ins Planetarium gefahren, das Pressezentrum besichtigt, die Ausführungen der Pflegeberatung gehört und noch vieles mehr.

Das ging in diesem Jahr wegen der besonderen Umstände nicht. Ein Höhepunkt für die CDU Senioren Union ist die Adventsfeier, die  in jedem Jahr unter einem besonderen Thema steht. Diese Zusammenkunft musste auch leider ausfallen. Deshalb überlegte man sich im Vorstand, wie den Seniorinnen und Senioren eine Freude zu bereiten ist. Alle 80 Mitglieder bekamen deshalb einen Weihnachtsbrief mit einem Geschenk in Form eines Holzkreuzes, welches die Vorstandsmitglieder persönlich vorbeibrachten. Das Kreuz aus Holz bezog sich auf das Thema der geplanten Adventsfeier: Josef von Nazareth, dem Zimmermann, der stets im Hintergrund der Weihnachtsgeschichte steht und doch eine so große Bedeutung hat.
